AUTO COM CDP ACTIVATION PATCH: Benefits and Features of Autocom 2020.23 Software

The following procedure describes the steps guests follow to activate their temporary account on their own regardless of how it was created. Guest accounts can be created either by an administrator, a sponsor, or the guest themselves using a kiosk. Once the guest has received his login credentials through one of these account creation methods, the activation process is as follows:

Customers using Azure Active Directory as their IdP can enablethis to have CDP automatically respect ADLS file ownership andconfer ownership to files that are respected by Azure servicesoutside of CDP. For example, if a user writes a file to ADLSoutside of CDP, that user could automatically access the filewithin CDP. Similarly a file written to ADLS in CDP can beconsumed by the corresponding user outside of CDP. Withoutthis feature enabled, all CDP files are owned by a singlesuperuser like identity and would require extra group mappingor ownership changes to enable access.
